Shyarpu Lake Rukum, Nepal

Syarpu Lake (स्यार्पु ताल) is one of most popular and largest lake in Rukum District, Mid-western Development Region of Nepal. It covers 0.53 Sq. Km area and is at the distance of 35 km from musikot airport of Rukum District. Rukum District is also known as "the place of 52 lakes and 53 hills". Many types of aquatic species are found in Syarpu lake. Musikot (the Headquarter of Rukum District) is in one and half hour flight distance from Kathmandu and 20-30 minutes from Nepalgunj.
